Your words have always been an inspiration - in particular the note you sent after Dave attended an adult program at Option. It came at just the right time for me. All my love and prayers go out to you - you are filled with the attitude of love and I know you can do it!

: To answer your questions... Benjamin is doing fine - he is saying all sorts of new things and making all kinds of new faces and cooperating at so many things - what a joy to watch!! He is more than happy to go to morning kindergarten every day, he is writing letters and spelling words, eye contact is purposeful and direct, he is sleeping in his own bed all night, he is becoming more innovative - none of this was happening just 6 months ago!! We are so thankful for the Son-Rise program and all that it adds to our life!

: Attitudinally, we are doing very well, although looking forward to another boost from Gerd in a few months. We have been very challenged in this area in the last 2 weeks, as Dave has been suddenly diagnosed with stomach cancer and is scheduled to go in for surgery next week. Rather than getting sucked into the depression, fear, anxiety and obsession that we would have been tempted by pre-Son-Rise, we have made the decision to be comfortable and happy and look at this as another wonderful opportunity to grow and love. Our right-hand-man Trisha is going in for bunion surgery on Thursday - how am I going to make up for these 3 hours on a daily basis?? I am looking forward to doing most of it myself with a level of energy comparable to the speed of light - BRING IT ON!!!!
