I'm not saying never jump, I'm saying there's orginized jumpimg and just jumping. All of our childeren are different and what effects each of them may have a different outcome. I'm getting the impression here that my son is more involved that most of the other children of the people on this message board. I'm still trying to teach motivation, desire and the will to "fit in". I am teaching him 'how' to observe. So, by limiting him to using objects (mostly) only in appropriate ways then I can teach him the 'concept' of it's use (not forcefully) and thereby promoting appripriate behavior.
