Hello,
Bram is right about all of the above, I especially like the part about accepting the problem while inviting it to move on.

We did a year of Nystatin and a year off. Now Josh has a brand of yeast and bacteria that is resistant to Nystatin. Biocidin seemed to help a great deal a year ago, and I am trying it again, and it seems to be working, although it would stand to reason, the yeast would be resistant to it now too. (My doctor didn't test for resistance to Biocidin, he doesn't know I used it when I felt Nystatin wasn't working last year. Biocidin is an herbal product that you can order without a prescription.) Anyway, we started Biocidin again because I really don't want to use another stronger drug. We tried something called Kolorex for a few days, but Josh vomitted, and he never vomitts.

I am following Bram's advice about cutting out the fruit and sugar and just really believing Josh can get well, and in the meantime, it is okay if the yeast is there. So far so good.
Love,
Jen
