: Any advice for natural ways of beating this problem?

Hi Jen,
There are many products on the market you could try but doing it without testing products for compatibility to your child could result in a waste of your time and money to say the least. I would recommend a reputable naturopath who has a good success rate at licking such problems. One thing for sure, what your child could be taking is friendly bacteria. Both lactobacilus acidolphilus and bifidus are the only two bacterias needed which should be taken with food, no matter what the label says. The label is incorrect if it says to take on an empty stomach. There is only one brand name on the market that I know of that is actually cultured on human breast milk so gives a strain that is the only one that will actually implant itself into the human gut. In Canada it is HMF. Candida infections as far as I understand are secondary to some sort of parasite infestation. Parasites can harbor bacteria and viruses so maybe look to that direction or imbalance can just keep repeating itself.
Good luck. :)
deborah.
