Hi Laura it's great to hear how well Aaron's doing - now this is a subject I consider myself an expert!!!!!!!! as Charlotte was 6 1/2 before she was toiled trained during the day. I'd say if you think it's a confidence issue, then it's important you and Carey are confident about what your doing, how you'll go about introducing the idea of going to the toilet as well as some consistence with the language you'll use too - it is it a potty or toilet, will he be doing a wee or pee? Be real specific & clear with yourselves first. Secondly, it's to be real comfortable if it doesn't work just yet. Remembering Aaron is in conntrol, going to the toilet is sometimes the ultimate control for our kids. When we last travelled to the Institute, Charlotte eventually went to the loo on the plane, but had held on for almost 18 hours! As for the rest - you know!!!!!!! Keep the attitude going, keep it fun, get his favourite toy's involved & hey presto....... well maybe not that quickly- but you never know! Give Aaron a hug from me! Love Kim x
