Some of Curty's favorite activities in the early days involved:
A huge box of birdseed (hated the feel at first
then grew to love it)
Paints
Shaving cream or foam soap
Playing ghost or silly dress up games with
different textured scarfs and cloths (the net
kind were great because we'd get better eye
contact with them)
Writing and drawing with washable stick paints on
the mirror
Puppets made from photos of volunteers and other
people he liked
Large boxes
Laundry basket with a rope tied to it for pulling
(it made a great boat, train, house or
whatever)
Magnetic letters and numbers and blocks with
letters and numbers on them
Water
Some small bean bags one of our volunteers made
using different fabrics
A hammock swing and a platform swing hanging from
the ceiling
Masks (but only the ones we made for some reason)
A huge tunnel filled with balls
Huge clothes two people could fit into
Gak, putty and playdough
