About Roger & Gayle Pollock
Roger and Gayle Pollock from Oregon are Son-Rise
parents to their son, 3 year old Miles who is
on the Autism Spectrum. The incredible transformation
they saw in their child using the Son-Rise Program
inspired them to donate scholarships to make
a special Start-Up program possible for residents
of Oregon.
Oregon has the highest
rate of Autism in the country, the latest statistics
from the Oregon Department of Education show
that an astounding 1 in 98 children in Oregon
have Autism. The national average is a diagnosis
of autism in 1 in every 150 children. If autism
goes up another 22% this next year as predicted,
1 in every 80 children in Oregon will have autism.
