Hello Son-Rise,

We are going to begin a AIT session for our son Enrique, and we're wondering what sort of reactions to expect from it afterwards?

W have heard via the grape vine that some children who do it can become very irritable or have messed up digestive tracts or sleep patterns change... We aren't exactly afraid of what is going to happen just curious about what to expect.

The program he is doing is 20 sessions of 1/2 hr alotments. So it is going to be a lot on him at one time and there is bound to be some reaction!!!

Any help would be great.....

Hi There!

From our experience, some families doing AIT report that there are clear benefits to doing it with their child, others report that they didn't notice any benefits.

Of course it's up to you as parents whether you decide to do it or not. If you are concerned about side effects, we suggest that you get in touch with the program provider and discuss the possible reactions that you might expect.
