My husband and I are getting divorced and my husband wants my son to do a 3/4 child custody arrangement. This means he will stay with me 3 days week, then dad 4 days a week then me 4 days a week then dad 3 days a week. There is no way that my son could handle this arrangement. I am trying to educate my lawyer, because obviously he has no idea about autism and it is hard for him to protect my child's best interest when he doesn't know anything about autism. Any ideas on where to go or what to do at this point. Right now we are hiring a guardian ad litem who again may have no idea about what autism is and what is in the best interest of the child.
Where do I go and what do I do? Any ideas?

This is really an awful situation especially for your child. Autism is a condition needs more attention and love from the parents. However, according to a new report, women in dedicated relationships who work have more than double the chance of being victimized at home than do stay-at-home housewives.
