Hello,
My son Andrew is 8 years old, and I have been doing a lot of treatments that include the whole set of Option Institute Programs as well as an Intensive. I have a second Intensive scheduled for October this year. My son has made wonderful progress, but we still have miles to go. I am doing the Special Carbohydrate diet with him and I have a DAN doctor treating him bio-medically for the last year.
I am presently doing HBOT and AIT in Canada and I would like to share with you my experience.
I am a guest of the Ability Camp in Picton Ontario Canada, and I have been amazed at how wonderful we have been treated here and how the staff went above and beyond the call of duty to make us feel at home, but mostly to accommodate Andrew and make him easy through his Hbot treatments.
He became more engaged and more sociable, he started speaking and interacting with strangers, he is much more confident and happy all the time. The AIT (auditory integration therapy) was a wonderful addition to his HBOT therapy. He learned to listen to music to be able to take high pitch noises and adapt better to daily demands. The rates are more than reasonable, the staff is wonderful and the sleep accommodations are free. To this date I have not found a better and more beneficial program for HBOT. Hi,
I would like to know what the HBOT therapy is, i have not heard about it, what kind of therapy is this?
We have done the AIT therapy on our son he has just turned 5 but he was 3 1/2 when we did the AIT it had amazing results, we had just started Son-Rise then about 4 months later did the AIT.
Before AIT he would scream for ages if he heard a emergency vechile and within 3 days of starting that finished for good!!! We were walking down a busy street looking for somewhere to eat between sessions and it came right past us, I braced my self for the attack that I got everytime (hitting biting and then he would end up laying on the sidewalk banging his head - and in the way of everyone else trying to get past) but it didnt come!! all he said was BEE-BAR (his word for it!) I thought then, well if it doesnt do anything else it has done that! but it went far beyond that, he no longer covered his ears to ANY load noise, he started to eat more and started to speak clearer. We also visited just after a specialist in prisim glasses and that to has made a big difference.
He has gone from non-verbal, and not even on stage 1 to totally verbal, long clear sentances and were just finishing stage 4!!! we hope he will be able to start school this coming September:)
