Hi beautiful friends, I am looking for volunteers for my two son's Sonrise program. The eldest son is 12, very verbal and very engaging. His opportunities for growth are in flexibility and expanding his interests. My youngest son is 11 and is very sweet and loving. He is non-verbal but is a great communicator in spite of his apraxia. We encourage him to try, try, try everything.
I live in the town of Glencoe, a lovely village situated on the shores of Lake Michigan. We are about 25 minutes from Chicago and live near the commuter station.
We will reimburse for gas/transportation and stipends are available.
