Our daughter, Izzy, is 4.5 years old and is likely on the spectrum although we did not obtain a formal diagnosis. We just came back from The Intensive and are looking for volunteers to help join Izzy in the Son-Rise playroom. Izzy displayed autistic tendencies at a young age of 15-month, with hand flapping, no pointing, no speech, no affection, and generally a difficult baby to care for. She's come a long way since then but still has real challenges in relating to people. She's very active and loves dancing / acting out scenes from DVDs.
