Training Curriculum

son-rise program professional training
The Son-Rise Program Professional Training Program will be offered on site at The Autism Treatment Center of America, through immediate and consistent hands-on training with local Son-Rise Program children and families. Training includes immediate immersion in The Son-Rise Program playroom environment for intensive practice in all Son-Rise Program modalities.

The Son-Rise Program Professional Training Program is a full-time commitment. Students will work full time while receiving on-the-job training. The training program includes classes, practical experience, study time and regular exams.

A comprehensive array of teaching modalities is employed throughout the training program.

  • Observation of Staff - Live demonstration of Son-Rise Program playroom techniques
  • Individualized Feedback / Video Feedback - Specific and detailed instruction from senior teaching staff following observation of each student working in the playroom
  • Practicum Playroom Experience - Development of skills through hands-on practice working with children and adults with special needs.
  • Intensive Team Development - In-depth technical information delivered in a group format.
  • Written Exams - Analysis of relevant literature and audio-visual materials as well as written demonstration of all techniques learned.

The Son-Rise Program Child Facilitator Training Program emphasizes the personal and professional growth of each student. Our training curriculum helps students achieve mastery of Son-Rise Program techniques in the playroom through intensive self-exploration, helping each student achieve impervious professional confidence as a Son-Rise Program Child Facilitator.
