We are extremely excited to announce that Enzymedica, the leading U.S. enzyme manufacturer, is reaching out to help families with children challenged by Autism spectrum disorders. As the cornerstone of its Autism Initiative, Enzymedica has created the Autism Hope Alliance.

We are deeply grateful to Enzymedica for generously agreeing, through the Autism Hope Alliance, to fund scholarships so that parents in financial need can attend The Son-Rise Program Start-Up for free.

Thus far this year, they have funded 100% tuition for 25 families from 14 states.

Additionally, Enzymedica has sponsored the 2009 Autism Grass Roots Tour (click here for the last remaining lecture dates and locations) featuring speakers Raun K. Kaufman, CEO of the Autism Treatment Center of America and himself fully recovered from Autism, and Kristin Selby Gonzalez, Enzymedica’s Director of Autism Education and herself a Son-Rise Program mom. Raun and Kristin criss-crossed the country, providing free lectures filled with new hope and concrete tools to parents in California, Kansas, Minnesota, Florida, Oregon, Iowa, New York, Colorado, Pennsylvania, Washington, New Jersey, Missouri, New Mexico, and Michigan.

In a world where the preponderance of funding goes to Autism research (genetic and similar) that may one day help children generations from now, we are most grateful that Enzymedica chose to help real children today by enabling parents to attend a Son-Rise Program Start-Up so that they can reach their sons and daughters now.
