BIOGRAPHY
Jack first discovered his love of working with special children and adults at the age of 14, when he started to volunteer with a local Art, Drama and Music Charity. Jack started volunteering in UK Son-Rise Programs in 2005, while studying for his degree in Psychology. Upon graduating, Jack continued to volunteer in more than 9 Son-Rise Programs, before being invited to apply for Child Facilitator training at the Autism Treatment Center of America™ in September 2008. Having finished his formal training period in the USA in March 2010, Jack is now completing a residency period working as a Son-Rise Program Child Facilitator based in the UK and plans to return later to America for further training in The Son-Rise Program.
With extensive experience as a theatre performer, Jack brings a wonderful blend of creativity, joy and fun to all his work with autistic people. He is excited to spread his love of The Son-Rise Program by the opportunity to help many UK families.
Quotes from Son-Rise Program parents
"Jack spent two days with my son Colin. He helped Colin do things we would never have thought he could do. His question and answer time was fantastic: he give us so many ideas and the confidence to try them out. It moved our program on so much, and helped my son hugely!"

"I loved having Jack for an outreach - as well as being irresistable in the playroom he demonstrated such warmth and sincerity in everything he did and said. He also was very astute in his observations about Christopher. This has particularly helped new members of my team to see what son-rise is all about - having a trully loving and accepting attitude whilst also wanting and expecting our children to achieve what others would think was unachieveable. It was so great having a 'stranger' come into my home and feel instantly that he was a life- long friend !"
