Seeing Autism as a Gift/Post From Bears
From Bears (Barry Neil Kaufman): Yesterday, while exercising, I watched a program on autism with comments by professionals and parents, all apparently doing ABA. Most of the folks interviewed appeared solemn and burdened by their situations. What a blessing for those of us who have learned (in The Son-Rise Program) to embrace our special children with autism and our other challenges as gifts and opportunities. Pass it on.
